Their visit brought smiles, laughter and companionship, highlighting the emotional and wellbeing benefits of animal therapy in a safe and social setting for ageing well. A perfect example of caring for older people with dignity and respect in a truly community-led home in Wirral.

Our August Crafternoon with Celia was a burst of creativity as residents painted with vegetables! Using red peppers, mushrooms, broccoli, celery and okra, everyone enjoyed exploring new textures and patterns while sharing laughter and conversation.
We had another wonderful afternoon at Abbeyfield Hoylake & West Kirby with Andrew and Marko. Our residents enjoyed live music, uplifting poetry and some lively dancing – a truly joyful time in our warm and welcoming care home.
