This week at Abbeyfield Hoylake & West Kirby, our residents got stuck into another fantastic activity session with Carla, and we put our crochet skills to the test!
It’s been a week of joy and cake at Abbeyfield Hoylake & West Kirby as we celebrated two very special birthdays!
Our lovely resident Daphne marked her birthday on 10th March, followed by Pat on 11th March—a double dose of celebrations, laughter, and, of course, delicious cake. The lounge was filled with smiles as everyone came together to wish them both a fantastic year ahead.

Abbeyfield Hoylake & West Kirby celebrated Pancake Day in style! Chef Sarah delighted residents at Abbeyfield Lear House with an expert pancake-flipping demo, delicious treats and plenty of laughter. It was a brilliant example of community-centric living and fun-filled activities at our Wirral residential care home.
Our February Crafternoon brought residents together for a relaxing session of sketching and drawing, led by the talented Celia. With inspiration from zebras, birds, trees, and more, our residents enjoyed an afternoon filled with concentration, laughter, and artistic expression.
