We would like to say a big thank you to Liz from Flowers by Elizabeth for spending last weekend with us and hosting such a lovely, creative afternoon.
Residents thoroughly enjoyed getting involved in making beautiful silk flower floral arrangements, using a fantastic range of materials supplied by Liz. From choosing colours and textures to arranging the finishing touches, everyone took great pride in their creations, and the results were truly impressive. Didn’t everyone do well?
The session was relaxed, friendly and full of conversation, with plenty of encouragement and shared ideas along the way. Activities like this are always popular, offering the chance to be creative while enjoying time together in good company.
A special thank you also goes to Heather, who helped throughout the afternoon and made sure everyone felt supported and included. With Liz and Heather on hand, residents were able to enjoy the activity at their own pace, making the experience both enjoyable and rewarding.
There was a real sense of achievement as the arrangements came together, and it was lovely to see so many smiles as residents admired their finished pieces. Everyone had a fabulous afternoon and clearly took great pleasure in both the activity and the company.
