This month’s Crafternoon with Celia took a wonderfully creative twist – we swapped brushes for vegetables!
Red peppers, mushrooms, broccoli, celery and okra all became our tools of choice as residents experimented with stamping, printing and painting. It’s always amazing to see how everyday items can be transformed into something completely new when you add a splash of colour and a bit of imagination.

The room was full of laughter and curiosity as we discovered the unique patterns and textures each vegetable could create. From bold prints to delicate shapes, no two artworks looked the same and everyone went home with something to be proud of.

As always, our Crafternoons are about more than just making things – they’re about sharing time together, sparking conversations and enjoying the sense of achievement that comes from trying something new. Celia has a wonderful way of inspiring creativity, and this session was no exception.

We can’t wait to see what she brings for us next month!
