Our lovely residents at Abbeyfield Lear house have been making the most of the sun and warm weather outside in our garden. We aim to try and get out in our garden as much as possible so when we saw the weather we knew it was time for Pimm’s and ice cream together outside.
Well equipped with hats and sunglasses, we made our way outside to find a lovely cart with cocktail glasses and a large jug of Pimm’s and fruit prepared especially for the occasion. Having an outside communal area is fantastic for our resdients, mental health and well being – allowing them to enjoy the sunshine, get some fresh air and socialise all from the comfort of Abbeyfield Lear House.
