There are some afternoons that leave a lasting mark on the heart, our July Popcats session was one of them. Lear House was filled with fun, music and lots of laughter as Caroline and the children from St Agnes Pre-School joined us for what turned out to be a truly special visit.

With bubbles floating through the air, colourful scarves waving to the beat and big beaming smiles all round, the lounge was full of energy and joy. Our residents absolutely love these sessions – not just for the music and movement, but for the connection. Watching the generations bond, sing and play together is always a beautiful thing to see.
This visit was extra special (and a little bittersweet) as it was the last time we’ll see the children from St Agnes Pre-School. The pre-school has now sadly closed, and while we’re so sad to say goodbye, we’re filled with thanksfor all the wonderful memories we’ve had.
We’d like to say a massive thank you to the lovely ladies who ran the group and brought such joy to our home. Your warmth and dedication have made a real difference. Your visits have been something we’ve all looked forward to time and time again.

To mark the final session, there was a true party atmosphere – music, dancing, singing and of course some bubbles for good measure! And as always, the session ended with a quiet moment of reading together – a chance to unwind.
