April Knit and Natter

We had lots of fun nattering about Easter at quite possibly the most sociable knitting event whilst knitting our own purses. Decorated with lambs, owls and more, the finished products were wonderful! Smiling as they knitted away, it was wonderful to see such joy from our residents.

With the expert help of Heather, our resident were so proud of their work. Heather provided us a fantastic morning and we can’t wait to do it again soon.

After a lovely morning natter about all things Easter we began doing a St George’s Day quiz – there was even some dancing! Friendships are huge for us here at Abbeyfield Hoylake and West Kirby. The smiles are pure evidence of the community that is created at these events. Giving our residents chance to connect to eachother whether they are visiting for residential care, round-the-clock care, or respite care.

You can see the beautiful items our residents have knitted for the Christmas shoe boxes and the Easter bonnet decorations we made as the ladies are proudly displaying their handiwork.
