At the end of last month, our residents at Abbeyfield Lear House enjoyed a fabulous afternoon with Caroline from Popcat’s Music Time and the delightful children from St Agnes Pre-School Group. It’s hard not to smile when you see our lounge filled with little ones singing, playing instruments and sharing stories with our residents.
Just look at these photos! You’ll spot our ladies tapping along with the children, waving sticks in the air and having a good giggle—our lounge turned into a mini music hall for the day. It’s this sort of adaptable care that makes our Residential Care Home stand out here in Hoylake and across the Wirral. Every visit like this supports our commitment to delivering the highest quality care that goes beyond the basics.

About Popcat’s Music Time
Popcat’s are a fabulous music and movement business that really is full of fun for everyone. We love welcoming Caroline to join us. We have so much fun because after all, thats what life is all about. Seeing our residents interact with Caroline and the children from the nursery is such a joy to be a part of. Popcat’s classes run all across the northwest with passionate teachers in every location.
About St Agnes Pre-School
After all the songs and musical fun, everyone settled down for a quiet time of reading together. Watching our residents and the children from St Agnes Pre-School Group sharing picture books and stories is a lovely reminder of the powerful connections that span the generations. There’s often nearly a century between our oldest residents and the youngest visitors, yet the smiles and warmth say it all.

Moments like these are what make Abbeyfield Hoylake & West Kirby truly special. We’re more than just a place offering Residential Care or Respite Care—we’re a home where friendship, laughter and community thrive.
