Our popular Thursday morning Knit and Natter sessions with Heather bring residents together for crafting and conversation. From knitting gifts for Christmas shoeboxes to sharing holiday memories and pet stories, it’s all part of the homely, life-enriching care offered at Abbeyfield Hoylake & West Kirby.
We received some very special visitors at Abbeyfield Hoylake & West Kirby. We loved welcoming Tim and his Golden Retriever, Gwyll, to visit. Our residents find such joy from spending time with the pair of them, they simply cant get enough of the lovely Gwyll.
Our second Activities Afternoon in July with Carla was packed with gentle exercises, colourful beanbags and plenty of laughter. From wrist stretches to a hilarious game of ‘Simon Says’, our residents enjoyed an uplifting session designed to support movement and wellbeing in a fun, social way.
An uplifting afternoon of music and creativity at Abbeyfield Hoylake & West Kirby saw residents drawing their favourite songs during Crafternoon. With plenty of laughter, singing and thoughtful artwork, this session highlights the life-enriching activities and warm, homely care at the heart of our community.
A busy Thursday at Abbeyfield saw music, reading and smiles with visiting children – followed by a cosy Knit and Natter session. Just another joyful day in our caring, connected community.
Our final Popcats session with the children from St Agnes Pre-School was filled with music, bubbles and big smiles. A joyful farewell to a group who’ve brought so much happiness to our home – thank you for the memories!
Music, movement and memories were on the menu during last week’s food-themed afternoon with Boogie Woogie! With singing, dancing, a herb quiz and plenty of fun, our residents had a truly joyful time at Abbeyfield Hoylake & West Kirby.
Earlier this month we welcomed back the children from St Agnes Pre-School for another fun-filled afternoon of bubbles, balloons and big smiles. Residents and little ones alike joined in for some joyful intergenerational fun at Lear House.
