We recently had a joyful afternoon of music, laughter and bubbles at Abbeyfield Lear House with Popcat’s Music Time and St Agnes Pre-School. Community care at its best!

Abbeyfield Lear House, a Residential Care Home in West Kirby, is seeking a full-time Senior Carer to join their team for a 12-month maternity cover position.

Our lovely residents at Abbeyfield Lear house have been making the most of the sun and warm weather outside in our garden.

We recieved some very special visitors at Abbeyfield Hoylake & West Kirby. We loved welcoming Tim and his Golden Retriever, Gwyl, to visit. Our residents find such joy from spending time with the pair of them, they simply cant get enough of the lovely Gwyl.

Last week at Abbeyfield Lear House we joined the rest of the nation in marking the 80th Anniversary of VE Day and what a lovely celebration we had.

Our residents had an amazing activities afternoon with the fantastic Carla. She uses props such as tennis rackets, balloons and hoops which challenges our residents and most of all puts a smile on their faces.

We had a fantastic time this weekend celebrating Thelma's birthday. With a gorgeous pink and blue cake, we celebrated in style. Surrounded by friends, staff and fellow residents, Thelma enjoyed a lovely birthday filled with laughter, music and plenty of cake.

The lovely residents at Abbeyfield Hoylake & West Kirby enjoyed a fabulous craft filled afternoon. Celia assisted the residents in creating beautiful spring garlands.

Last month at Abbeyfield, we hosted the most amazing Teddy bears picnic for our residents as well as their families and friends. Our residents had an amazing afternoon filled with fun and laughter, a vital part of life here at Abbeyfield.

Residents at Abbeyfield Lear House in West Kirby enjoyed an uplifting Easter visit from Boogie Woogie Music, Movement & Memories, filled with singing, dancing and memory-sharing. A joyful example of our community-centric living, adaptable care and round the clock support in a trusted residential care home on the Wirral.
