Some photos from yesterday morning's Knit and Natter session with Heather, where our talented residents crafted a beautiful knitted poppy wreath. It’s always inspiring to see the creativity and care that goes into each piece, and the wreath is a lovely reminder of the significance of remembrance.
We had another wonderful afternoon with Sandra Currie, who treated us to all our favourite songs, including plenty of requests! There was lots of singing along, and even some dancing, making it a lively and enjoyable time for everyone.
We had a little bit of Halloween fun with Jenna from Boogie Woogie Music, Movement & Memories, and as always, there were plenty of smiles and laughter! Jenna brought along a wonderful selection of music and activities, with everyone joining in the fun.
A very special Happy Birthday to Doreen, who celebrated her birthday today with everyone at Lear House! It was a wonderful day filled with joy and celebration, and we’re so happy to have shared this special occasion with her.
At our Shared Reading afternoon with Anne this month, we talked about our favourite things and listened to the iconic song by Julie Andrews from The Sound of Music. As always, it was a fantastic afternoon filled with lively discussion, allowing everyone to share their personal favourites and memories.
