Celebrating Community with St Agnes Pre-School

As part of this year’s Abbeyfield Week celebrations, which run from 9–22 June, we’re shining a light on something close to our hearts here at Abbeyfield Hoylake & West Kirby Society – our brilliant bond with St Agnes Pre-School Group.

You can’t miss the excitement in the air when the children arrive – and judging by the beaming smiles, the feeling is mutual! The little ones from St Agnes are regular visitors and our residents absolutely love spending time with them.

In these snapshots, you’ll see one of our favourite sessions – Popcats Music Time with the ever-wonderful Caroline. There’s music, dancing, laughter and just the right amount of chaos. After all the excitement, we wind down with some shared reading – a quiet moment that brings just as much joy as the noisy bits.

It’s a perfect example of what community-centric living means to us at Abbeyfield Hoylake & West Kirby. It’s not just about Residential Care – it’s about building connections that make a real difference.

Seeing generations come together like this is incredibly special. It brings energy, conversation and plenty of giggles into the home. Our residents light up when the children walk through the door and it’s easy to see the long-lasting impact these visits have – on both sides.

This Abbeyfield Week, we’re celebrating more than a calendar date. We’re celebrating relationships, joy and the kind of adaptable care that brings people together in the most heartwarming ways.

Keep following along for more of the magic – because community is at the very heart of everything we do.
