PERMANENT POST FOR A DAY CARER

Abbeyfield Hoylake & West Kirby Society, Lear House have a vacancy for a Day Care Assistant.

We are looking for a Day Care Assistant to work 3 x 12-hour shifts over 7 days each week, this is a permanent position.

You will join our amazing team of carers at Abbeyfield and be part of our highly reputable and established home, providing non-nursing care to 24 older people.

Salary: – You will be paid £12.21 per hour with an uplift to £15.87 per hour for weekend work.

Salaries are reviewed every April.

Qualified in Health and Social Care to level 2 and experience in Care is preferable but not essential.


PERMANENT POST FOR A SENIOR CARER

Abbeyfield Hoylake & West Kirby Society, Lear House have a vacancy for a Senior Care Assistant.

We are looking for a Senior Care Assistant to work 2 or 3 x 12-hour shifts over 7 days each week, this is a permanent position.

You will join our amazing team of carers at Abbeyfield and be part of our highly reputable and established home, providing non-nursing care to 24 older people.

Salary: – You will be paid £13.97 per hour with an uplift to £18.16 per hour for weekend work.

Salaries are reviewed every April.

Qualified in Health and Social Care to level 3

Experience in Care is preferable but not essential.


2 ASSISTANT COOKS

Important positions have arisen at Abbeyfield Lear House for 2 x Assistant Cooks to join our amazing team.

Purpose: To prepare nutritiously balanced and attractively presented meals. Responsible for efficiency, hygiene and safety in the catering area and achieve the highest standards of food preparation and production as per Abbeyfield’s quality standards.

To help promote residents’ participation in the life of the home.

Job Type : Part Time, Permanent – to commence April 2026.

Hours: 19 hrs Contracted to cover 5 days a week with alternative weekends.

Salary: £12.71 per hour Mon – Fri – £16.95 per hour Sat and Sunday.

Experience:

Chef: 2 years required

Care Home: 1 year required
