What better way to celebrate National Kissing Day than with a bit of toe-tapping fun and plenty of giggles? We had another brilliant afternoon here at Abbeyfield Lear House thanks to Jenna from Boogie Woogie Music, Movement & Memories.
If you’ve ever seen Jenna in action, you’ll know there’s never a dull moment. She had our lounge buzzing with upbeat songs, gentle movements and plenty of laughter. Our theme for the afternoon was all about love, so the music was packed with classics that got everyone swaying, clapping and even singing along.
From waving our batons in the air to rhythmic claps and the occasional cheeky wiggle, everyone joined in with bags of enthusiasm. You can see in the photos just how much energy and joy filled the room – it’s hard not to smile when you’re surrounded by music and good friends.

One of the best bits? A friendly competition that had us all on our toes. There were flowers up for grabs for our winner and the excitement was contagious. Congratulations to our champion – there’s always room at Abbeyfield Hoylake & West Kirby for a bit of healthy competition, especially when it ends with a beautiful bouquet and a round of applause.
