There’s always a lovely buzz in the air when Mark Birch pops in to see us – and his visit at the end of last month was no different. From the moment he picked up the mic, the room came alive with toe-tapping tunes, smiling faces and plenty of singing along.

As you can see in the photos, everyone got involved – holding hands, joining in with the music and simply enjoying being together. Mark has a brilliant way of encouraging the crowd, and it’s clear just how much joy his performances bring.
Afternoons like this aren’t just about entertainment – they’re about connection. It’s lovely to see our residents laughing, chatting and joining in with something they genuinely enjoy. These little moments mean so much.
Here at Abbeyfield Hoylake & West Kirby, we always try to make sure there’s something to look forward to. Whether it’s music, games, visiting children or simply a good cuppa and a chat, it’s all about making each day a little bit brighter.

We’re already looking forward to Mark’s next visit – and judging by the applause, so is everyone else!
