We had a fantastic time yesterday at Abbeyfield Lear House as we celebrated a very special gentleman – Gerry! Surrounded by friends, staff and fellow residents, Gerry enjoyed a lovely birthday filled with laughter, music and plenty of cake.

We had a wonderful afternoon celebrating St Patrick’s Day at Abbeyfield Lear House with the fantastic Sandra Currie! Our residents enjoyed a lively session filled with Irish songs and their regular musical favourites. At Abbeyfield Hoylake & West Kirby, we’re always delighted when Tim and his Golden Retriever, Gwyl, come to visit. As volunteers with Therapy Dogs Nationwide, their visits bring immense joy and comfort to our residents, lifting their spirits and sparking countless smiles.

This week at Abbeyfield Hoylake & West Kirby, our residents got stuck into another fantastic activity session with Carla, and we put our crochet skills to the test!

It’s been a week of joy and cake at Abbeyfield Hoylake & West Kirby as we celebrated two very special birthdays! Our lovely resident Daphne marked her birthday on 10th March, followed by Pat on 11th March—a double dose of celebrations, laughter, and, of course, delicious cake. The lounge was filled with smiles as everyone came together to wish them both a fantastic year ahead.
