The afternoon was filled with music, laughter and plenty of dancing. Residents were soon up on their feet, dancing along to familiar tunes, while others enjoyed clapping, singing and moving from their chairs. Caroline encourages participation at every level, making sure that everyone can take part in a way that feels right for them.

Dancing sessions like this are about much more than movement alone. They support physical wellbeing, help maintain balance and coordination, and encourage gentle exercise in a fun and social way. Most importantly, they lift spirits, build confidence and create moments of shared joy. It was lovely to see residents smiling, laughing and encouraging one another throughout the session.

Caroline’s sessions are always full of fun, but they are also thoughtfully structured, using music to spark memories and create connections. The familiar songs prompted conversations, reminiscing and lots of laughter, adding to the sense of togetherness in the room.

By the end of the afternoon, there were plenty of happy faces and talk of favourite songs and dance moves. It was clear how much residents had enjoyed the experience and how energised everyone felt afterwards.

A big thank you to Caroline for another uplifting, engaging and joy-filled afternoon. We’re already looking forward to welcoming her back again soon for more music, dancing and fun.
