We always love seeing Gwyll and Tim when they come to visit us, and their recent visit was no exception.
Gwyll is a wonderful therapy dog from Therapy Dogs Nationwide, and he never fails to brighten our day. From the moment he arrives, there are smiles all round. Residents enjoy stroking him, chatting about past pets and simply spending time in his calm and comforting presence. Therapy dog visits bring so much more than cuddles. They encourage conversation, spark happy memories and create a relaxed atmosphere that everyone can enjoy.
Tim is equally valued, taking the time to talk with residents and making each visit feel personal and meaningful. Together, they bring warmth and connection into the home. It is always a pleasure to welcome them through the door.
This visit was made even more special thanks to Tim’s wife, who very kindly made beautiful lavender hearts for our residents as a Valentine’s Day gift. Each heart was thoughtfully created and delicately scented, and they were absolutely delighted with their surprise. It was such a generous and kind gesture, and the gifts were received with genuine appreciation.
Moments like these remind us how important community connections are. Whether it is a friendly visit from a therapy dog or a handmade gift given with care, these thoughtful acts mean a great deal to our residents.
