Our residents and staff went head-to-head in a thrilling quiz featuring forty general knowledge questions. With laughter, teamwork, and a nail-biting tie at 20 points each, it was a day filled with fun and community spirit.
Audrey celebrated her birthday at Lear House with a gorgeous cake from our chef, a card from King Charles, and a heartwarming serenade by St Agnes Pre-School Group!
We enjoyed a magical afternoon of singing and dancing with the talented Mark Birch. His fantastic setlist, filled with favourite tunes and new songs, had everyone clapping, swaying, and smiling. It was an unforgettable experience that brought joy and connection to all who joined. We can’t wait for more musical moments like this!
Last week, we had the joy of welcoming back the children from St Agnes Pre-School Group for an afternoon full of music, movement, and fun! With the fabulous Caroline from Popcats leading the way, the children danced, played percussion, counted with claves, and sang along to their favourite tunes.
Our first Pamper Afternoon at Abbeyfield Hoylake and West Kirby Society was a delightful treat, featuring hand and arm massages, rejuvenating facials, and a glass of Baileys, all hosted by the wonderful Jess Harrison. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this blissful afternoon—we can’t wait for the next one!
We kicked off 2025 in style with our first Knit and Natter session of the year at Abbeyfield Hoylake and West Kirby! With projects like knitted hearts, handwarmers, and hair bands, there was plenty of focus—and fun chatter about New Year’s Resolutions.
On one of the coldest days of the year, we found the perfect way to stay warm—Music Bingo and ice cream! With our favourite tunes playing and chocolate ice cream in hand, we enjoyed a lovely afternoon inside at Abbeyfield Hoylake and West Kirby. The day ended with a comforting cup of tea and plenty of smiles. What a great way to beat the winter blues!
Today, we celebrated Audrey’s birthday at Lear House, and what a lovely day it was! Surrounded by friends, laughter, and lots of cake, Audrey’s big day was filled with joy. We wish Audrey many more happy birthdays ahead!
Our Annual Carol Service at Lear House was more than just a festive gathering—it was a celebration of the true meaning of Christmas. With readings, carols, and a post-service treat of mulled wine and mince pies, we embraced the spirit of togetherness and reflection, making this holiday tradition a truly special occasion for all.
Our Christmas Eve afternoon with Sandra Currie was filled with singing, dancing, and lots of festive fun. With Christmas adornments, our favourite songs, and plenty of laughter, it was the perfect way to celebrate the season together.
