Week 2 of our Boogie Baby sessions with Jenna from Connected Community Wellbeing CIC took place on [DATE], and it was another amazing morning at Seafield House. This time we headed out to the Wild West, and our residents and little visitors saddled up for a morning full of music, movement and fun.
Welcome to the Wild West
Our theme for the week was cowboys and the Wild West, and everyone got right into the spirit of things. Cowboy hats appeared all around the room, and there were plenty of smiles as residents, children and their grown-ups joined the posse together. A great selection of themed music set the scene perfectly and kept the energy high from start to finish.
Activities for Everyone to Share
Jenna led a wonderful mix of activities designed for young and old to enjoy side by side. There was lots to join in with, whether that meant singing, moving along to the music or simply enjoying the fun from a front-row seat. Everyone found their own way to take part, and the room was full of laughter throughout.
Connections Across the Generations
One of the most rewarding things about Boogie Baby is watching the bonds that are forming between the generations. Week by week, residents and children are becoming more familiar with one another, and it’s lovely to see the smiles of recognition, the shared giggles and the growing confidence on both sides. These connections are at the heart of what the programme is all about.
