Spooky Cakes, Eyeball Meatballs and More

Headbands at the Ready

To really get into the Halloween spirit, out came the spooky headbands. Residents and staff alike looked the part, and the headbands added plenty of fun and laughter to the day. They certainly made for some brilliant photos!

Eyeballs on the Menu!

The star of the Halloween menu was a plate of eyeball meatballs served with spooky pasta. They looked deliciously ghoulish and tasted every bit as good, and there were plenty of smiles (and a few raised eyebrows!) around the dining tables as they arrived.

Themed meals like this are a lovely way to mark the seasons and give everyone something to chat and laugh about over lunch.

Spooky Cakes for Afters

No celebration at Lear House would be complete without cake, and Halloween was no exception. Our spooky cakes were a real treat, looking suitably eerie while tasting anything but scary!
