Our November Music and Movement sessions got off to a brilliant start, as Caroline from Popcats Music Time returned to Lear House. It was a morning full of fun, singing and, of course, plenty of dancing!

The First of This Month’s Sessions
Caroline is a firm favourite at Lear House, and her Music and Movement sessions are always one of the highlights of the month. This was the first of our November sessions, so we already have more to look forward to over the coming weeks.

Lots of Fun and Singing
From the moment Caroline arrived, the room was filled with music. Familiar songs had everyone singing along, and there was plenty of laughter and fun throughout. Caroline has a wonderful way of bringing everyone together and making sure all our residents feel part of the session.

And of Course, Dancing!
It wouldn’t be Music and Movement without a little dancing! With the music in full swing, residents joined in with the movement, whether that meant getting up on their feet, moving along from their chairs or clapping in time to the beat.

Why Music and Movement Matters
Sessions like these bring so much more than entertainment for our residents:
- Gentle exercise: moving to music helps keep everyone active in a fun, relaxed way
- Mood boosting: singing and laughter lift spirits for the rest of the day
- Memories: familiar songs can spark happy memories and conversation
- Togetherness: sharing the fun as a group helps build friendships around the home

Thank You, Caroline!
We always have a wonderful time with Caroline, and this session was no exception. A big thank you to her for another fantastic morning. We are looking forward to seeing her again very soon!
