Singing, Dancing and Tambourines with Sandra Currie

We always know it’s going to be a great afternoon when Sandra Currie comes to see us at Lear House, and her latest visit was no exception!

All our favourite songs

Sandra knows exactly what our residents love to hear, and she filled the afternoon with all our favourite music. Familiar tunes have a wonderful way of bringing back memories, and it wasn’t long before everyone was joining in.

Tambourines at the ready

There was plenty of singing, with residents happily picking up tambourines to keep the beat. It’s always lovely to see everyone getting involved in their own way, whether that’s singing every word, tapping along or simply enjoying the music.

Time for a dance

And of course, no afternoon with Sandra would be complete without some dancing! The energy in the room was fantastic, with smiles all round as residents and staff took to the floor together.

A firm favourite at Lear House

Sandra is one of our regular entertainers and her visits are always a highlight of our activities programme. You can read about her earlier visit in Sandra Currie’s previous visit, and see more of our music sessions in Popcats Music Time and The 64 N’Ukes.

Thank you, Sandra, for another brilliant afternoon. We can’t wait to see you again!
