We had a lovely morning at Lear House crafting with the children from Carrie’s Tiney Home Nursery and Caroline’s Childminding.

Getting creative together
Residents and children sat side by side to work on their crafts, sharing materials, swapping ideas and admiring each other’s handiwork. It was wonderful to see everyone getting stuck in and enjoying being creative together.

The joy of bringing generations together
There’s something really special about our intergenerational visits. The children bring so much energy and fun into the home, and our residents love chatting with them, helping with the tricky bits and sharing a smile or two. These mornings are always among the happiest in our activities calendar, and the children seem to enjoy them just as much.

Part of a growing friendship
Carrie’s Tiney Home Nursery and Caroline’s Childminding are regular visitors to Lear House, and we’re so grateful for the friendships that have grown between our residents and the children. You can read about some of their earlier visits in our previous nursery visit, and see more intergenerational fun in Boogie Baby.
A huge thank you to Carrie, Caroline and all the children for coming to see us. We’re already looking forward to the next visit!
