A Wonderful Afternoon of Piano and Flute with Sarah and Richard

A big thank you to Sarah and Richard, who treated us to a wonderful piano and flute concert at Lear House.

A wide range of music

Sarah and Richard brought together a lovely mix of music for the afternoon, with something for every taste. The programme ranged from pieces associated with James Galway, one of the best-known flautists of all time, to well-loved traditional Irish classics.

Popular with everyone

The concert went down a treat with our residents. The combination of piano and flute made for a beautiful sound, and the familiar Irish tunes in particular had plenty of people tapping their feet and humming along. It really was a great afternoon.

Live music at Lear House

Live music is a big part of life at Lear House, and we’re lucky to welcome so many talented performers. You can read about more of our musical afternoons in Sandra Currie’s visit, The 64 N’Ukes and Popcats Music Time.

Thank you again, Sarah and Richard, for sharing your talents with us. We’d love to welcome you back!
